Nothing important was ever accomplished without adversity, setbacks and difficulties. Think of Michael Jordan, who was cut from his high school basketball team for not being good enough. He said:

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I am so successful.” Mr. Jordan tells us in plain English that the key to his success was persistence.

The key attitude to achieve great achievement is to be persistent on making progress. If your goals are not achieved today, tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year – persist, because being persistent will pay off after a while. Girl Talk Marlton/The Wishwall Foundation

You must be persistent if you want to be able to sustain your business through the challenges of entrepreneurship and eventually reap the rewards of a successful business. Perseverance – that was the key word then, and it still remains the basic principle for anyone who wants success. You cannot creatively get anywhere in this life without sturdy application of the persistence principle. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
